The Announcement Bar is perfect for sharing important store info like slogans, discounts, and social media links.
Block Options
Announcement: Add messages or slogans.
Discount Code: Highlight promotions.
Social Links: Display social links (set these in Settings).
How to Set Up a Discount Code
If you’re using a Discount Code, remember that it must also be configured outside the theme editor under Discounts for it to work properly.
Follow these steps to set up a discount code that works with your Announcement Bar:
Define the Discount Code in the Announcement Bar or Runner settings within the Theme Editor.
Exit the Theme Editor once the code is set.
Navigate to Discounts in your Shopify dashboard.
Click on Create Discount and enter the same discount code you defined earlier.
Set the discount rules and save.
